Experts in the field of in home care highly recommend placement in the home of the conservatee. California Law mandates it as does California Probate Code. But as I have learned these thieves have their own set of rules.
While visiting Mr. Thomas' website, I was not shocked to see that Mr. Thomas recently added in home care as one of his services. He must have seen how much the agency that he chose to care for my Grandmother prior to her hospitalization charged...$90,000 in less than10 months plus expenses including their mileage, petty cash with no receipts, a fax machine and other undocumented, unsubstantiated charges. Sounds like Mr. Herb Thomas and his associates look for any and all ways to take advantage of their clients. Talk about a conflict of interest! Absolutely no checks and balances! He can do whatever he wants. He is offering a $25 discount for new customers, however.
On the website, http://www.herbthomas.com/, their company slogan is "home care that puts your well being first". Why isn't Mr. Herb Thomas putting my Grandmother's well being first?
